I am so excited to gather again for our second Nourish Retreat – a Fall Equinox harvest. When we met last quarter we sat into what it felt like to be nourished to prepare us for the slowness of summer, and the seeds we had planted in spring. This time we will meet again on the Fall equinox to Nourish our growth, bring in thanks for all that we have done, and release anything that feels heavy as we prepare to go inward and prepare for darker days.
I felt into the invitation for more time and spaciousness so for this gathering we will meet for one full day of connection, yoga, dance, nourishment, nature, introspection, and honoring the changing of the seasons. This will allow for more space to connect with ease. It will allow for more solitude with yourself and nature. It will allow for more time to connect to your sisters outside of our activities on your own sacred time.
The Fall equinox is all about harvesting the fruits and seeds that we planted six months ago in the Spring, and reflecting on how far we have come. It is a time to give thanks and practice deep gratitude for all that we have gained and lost. This is a time to honor the natural rhythm of life cycles; growth, harvest, death, and rebirth. We will celebrate and illuminate our abundance in the light before we transition to darker days. As the leaves start to fall to prepare for rebirth, we too will examine what may need to be released so that it can become fertilizer for new energy.
This will be a full day gathering – allowing for time to connect with ourselves, our truth, the earth, and community. We will connect in circle with other women, in a safe and sacred container, and allow ourselves to be witnessed. There is an extreme beauty when you can be seen and heard from a fellow sister, and know that you are not alone in your experience. Through writing, conversation, breath work, meditation, and sacred rituals we will go deep within our truth and go under the masks that we carry.
We will embody these practices through yoga intuitive movement, and dance to further integrate and move any unnecessary blockages out of our body so we can create room for the energy we desire. Every aspect of this retreat will be designed to nourish your senses, calm your nervous system, awaken joy and celebration, and allow space for you to come back to yourself.
This retreat is open to all women or those that identify as a woman – all races, orientations, and ages. Space is limited to create an intimate and intentional container so if you are feeling called I encourage you to reserve your spot. If you have a desire to be here and have a curiosity to explore and deepen your connection to your body, breath, your heart, the land, and sisterhood, this is for you!
In connection with the theme of harvesting we are honored and thrilled to be offering our full day of nourishment retreat at the Starseed Ranch. Located on the Kohala Coast, just 15 minutes north of Hawi town, this 26-acre estate is completely off the grid. Starseed ranch is a unique and special part of the island, with beautifully landscaped grounds, diverse orchards, balinese-style buildings, and walkways spread out all over the farm. We will have the entire property all to ourselves, with time to and space to get lost in nature, and fully ground with the ‘aina. Our circles will take place in their dedicated yoga room, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the jungle like trees and river. Yoga, dance, and getting lost in nature will take place on the ocean front farm under the monkey pod trees.
